Dette vinduet fyller sannsynligvis 120 år neste år. Likevel var det ikke tegn til råte. Glassene ble tatt ut av rammene, rammer skrapt rene for maling og glass kittet i på nytt. Deretter fikk vinduet noen strøk med linoljemaling. Dermed skulle det være klart for nye 130 år med rett vedlikehold.
This window is 120 years old, but still it was not damaged by rot. The glass was taken out of the frames, and removed all the old layers with paint and dirt, and then the glass was put back again with small nails and putty.
Then the window was painted again with linseed oilpaint. with that the window with proper maintenance shuld live for another 130 years
Jobben tar et par kvelder med rett utstyr. En god skrape. Varmepistol (Vær forsiktig rundt glasskanten så det ikke sprekker), malingsfjerner og TÅLMODIGHET, hvilket jeg ikke har... Stian derimot holder ut...
The job takes a day with right equipment, a good scrape.Heating-gun(be careful around the glassplate so it does`nt crack, paintremover and a lot of patience whom I dont have........
